with children in mind. All links are verified by humans to not
contain offensive material. Also included at this site are special
sections for parents and teachers.
- Ask
Jeeves for Kids
- Works in much the same way as the regular Ask Jeeves, except
that it anticipates questions from children and points them toward
web sites that are age appropriate.
- Clusty
- This meta search engine sends your query to multiple other search
engines simultaneously, but also compiles and presents "clustered
results," categorized groupings of results organized by conceptually
related topics. This is especially useful when you're searching
for something unfamiliar, and aren't sure which keywords will
produce the optimal results.

- Metasearch engine which looks through other search engines to
find the best possible sites to match your search request.
- Ask - Internet "butler" that attempts to
supply you with whatever you want. You simply type in a question
and it will provide you with a list of sites with a possible answer.

- Claims to have a breakthrough technology which allows for more
correct hits than any search engines.
- Alta
Vista
- Very popular and even has a translation feature so web pages
can be read in various languages.
- Web
Crawler - Spuns together the web's top search engines.
- Lycos
- One of the oldest search engines available. A-Z, available on
Lycos, ranks the best rated websites on the net.
- Excite
- Searches for websites by category also.
- Yahoo!
- One of the most used Internet directories on the web. Information
is divided into categories.
